Great place to take your cat! Sensitive and caring staff, willing to explain all options. Helped us with our aging cat when she had to be put down, and again with giving us closure when our healthy tomcat suddenly died from an unexpected cause. Even mundane stuff like claw trimming is almost fun 😝 …
My partner and I would like to give our most heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful people at CCV that helped us spend as much time as possible with our beautiful, Kiri.
Dr. John Yang went above and beyond, doing copious amounts of research, consulting with leading authorities in cat medicine, and calling out of hours just to see how we were going.
Him, and all other team members at CCV truly cared for our dear Kiri and your kindness will always have a place in our hearts.
We adopted Ripley when she was just 700g and had gastrointestinal issues for about 2 months. I’m not sure I would’ve felt so validation in knowing something was wrong if it wasn’t for Canberra Cat Vet, and they even squeezed us in for appointments when she had issues teething. They have since been so supportive of my raw feeding journey with Ripley which is so comforting. Ripley also loves the vet and has been known to fall asleep on the scales. We have adopted another kitten (Leroy - white DSH) and again, the support from CCV in his kitten hood has been outstanding. I also echo the sentiments from other reviews that I have never felt pressured to purchase/do anything I was not comfortable with.
I can’t thank the team at Canberra Cat Vet enough for saving our kitty cat’s life and taking such good care of him 💕.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my two cats. The vets, the nurses and the receptionists are all cat lovers, compassionate and very caring to both cats and cat parents and they know their stuff!the clinic itself is also a very welcoming place overseen by a gorgeous little black panther called Queen Annie!
Minou is recovering well after emergency surgery and has been purring loudly since coming home:
Thank you 🙏
We have been using CCV since moving to Canberra and adopting our two cats. It is an absolutely wonderful place with great and knowledgeable reception staff as well as vets. Both cats have had health issues and with our youngest on chemo and the care with which they have treated them is fabulous. It's also great that it is a cat only place as this seems to really help keep the stress to a minimum for the cats. Our family absolutely loves Dr John and how kind he is to our fluffy family members. He is fantastic!!
Absolutely amazing vets and nurses. They always take the time to listen and genuinely care! I am so happy that we have found CCV, it gives us great comfort knowing that they are looked by the best! Both Evie & Luna (soon to meet) say hi 😀 …
Canberra cat vet is good and friendly staff and very helpful and friendly veterinarians too
Lovely, friendly practitioners and staff took such great care of my elderly cats and later when one went in for surgery. The first consultation was very thorough and stress free. Dr. Kay performed surgery on my older cat and, even at the end of her very long day, took time to explain everything and provided a follow-up email with a comprehensive report of all findings and treatment advice. This is my new go-to vet for all my cat healthcare needs!
